Health Hazzard Brad’s Communication Breakdown is His Own Making

Health Hazard Brad is blaming everybody but himself for his mistakes in the Health portfolio - but still hasn't guaranteed Temora's obstetrics theatre.

Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party MLC Robert Borsak slammed Health Minister Brad hazard for blaming a communication breakdown on not knowing that Temora Hospital was closing their obstetrics theatre.

“The Minister, 'Health Hazzard Brad', is trying to pull the wool over everybody’s eyes with his poor excuses,” Mr Borsak said.

“What the accident-prone Health Minister doesn’t want locals to know is that the communication breakdown he’s blaming was created by his own Government.

“This Liberal and National Party Government re-engineered the Health portfolio so that the Minister could palm-off responsibility for bad decisions to the Local Health Districts.

“The design was to just have the Minister announce good announcements, and push the blame for bad announcements onto local bureaucrats.

“If the Murrumbidgee Local Health District is really withholding key information from the Health Minister, then there should be a full public inquiry and heads must roll.

“Should this happen again in one more rural community it will be one time too many!”

Mr Borsak highlighted that Minister Hazzard has said all the right things in the media, but has not yet made an ironclad guarantee to the community.

“He has blamed everybody else for his failure and has a history of blaming others for his own mistakes. He’s hoping nobody noticed that he didn’t give a 100% guarantee to keep the obstetrics theatre open.

“I have heard reports that Minister Hazzard is now scrambling to find a solution after I wrote to him, but mark my words: this is only happening because the Shooters Fishers and Farmers Party is contesting the Cootamundra by-election”.
