The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party asserts the right of law abiding citizens to own and use firearms. We recognise the cultural and economic significance of recreational shooting and hunting. The regulation of firearms should not unduly impede on a law abiding citizens pursuit of his or her freedoms.

PRIMARY INDUSTRIES AND FARMING
We’ll fight for Regional NSW and our farmers
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party recognise the importance of primary industries to the NSW economy. A sound and safe policy is needed to ensure the long term viability of primary industries in NSW. We will continue to work to expand the agriculture, forestry and mining industries, balanced by the appropriate and sustainable utilisation of all natural resources.
SAFEGUARDING OUR ENVIRONMENT
Active management, not lock-outs!
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party strongly supports safeguarding our natural environment. After all, shooting, hunting, fishing, and four-wheel driving all require one thing to survive: the environment! We understand how important it is to protect our environment for future generations. We recognise the ongoing degradation of our natural environment and that current management is not working. Rather than offer empty slogans, the Shooters and Fishers Party can offer practical benefits for the environment.
4WDING & CAMPING

Four-wheel driving is a popular and legitimate recreation deserving of better support. NSW is home to some of the most diverse and appealing natural landscapes in the world, most of which is best explored by four-wheel drive and motorcycle vehicles.
OUTDOOR RECREATION AND ACCESS
Supporting fair recreational access for all.
The great outdoors are meant to be enjoyed by all, with individuals and communities contributing to the environmental value of our natural landscape. We reject the view taken by the major parties, and particularly the extreme Greens, who seek to restrict public land access to who they choose.
SOCIETY AND SERVICE DELIVERY
No more "Nanny-state"
The Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party believes that centralised, city-based Government decision making has led to poor outcomes for regional and rural NSW for far too long. Governments that pander to inner-urban lobby groups often do so at the expense of rural and regional economies. Regional NSW then loses productivity and essential community services such as health, education, banking and public transport all suffer.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Keeping Local Government "LOCAL"
The Shooters and Fishers Party recognises that councils in many cases are the largest local employer in many regional communities and play an important and vital role in delivering a broad range of services and employment opportunities. Without these services, many rural communities would struggle to survive or to attract and retain their local populations. Local Government represents grassroots democracy. It is the closest Government entity to citizens and best positioned to hear their concerns. We will work to keep it this way.
