We all know that criminals and the trade of illegal firearms is the real problem, but it’s a difficult problem to police and recreational shooters are an easy, visible target.

For almost 20 years our MPs in the NSW Parliament have been trying to introduce these mandatory sentences, but neither the Labor Party or the Liberal Party support it.
