Everybody loves to fish: be it when you're out on the boat with your mates, enjoying it from the shore with your family, or by yourself on a quiet stretch of water. About 3.4 million people enjoy fishing every year, and we're so lucky in this country that we have so many clean, accessible waterways and so many great places to go fishing.

Unfortunately, so-called green groups and the 'animal rights' lobby want to ban fishing.

Many people don't want to be involved in political debates because all they want to do is enjoy their favourite fishing spot, but if we don't get involved, we could easily wake up one day and have our way of life taken away from us.
